Despite the predominantly peaceful nature of pro-Palestine movement, the authorities in the US have resorted to disproportionate force, crackdown and violence. It is shameful that professors and students are being sacked and suppressed not for promoting violence but (for) "calling for a ceasefire!. Yeah! this is exactly the interpretation of human rights and freedom of speech by US authorities and its western allies. The shameful indifference of US authorities to the ongoing genocide taking place in Gaza strip clearly demonstrates their double standard. Now, we observe the awakening of freedom-loving conscience of the professors and students in the universities of US against Zionist apartheid regime. the

        Dear colleagues and students!  As the members of the University of Gonabad, we stand firmly by you, and condemn the heinous act of US authorities in suppressing the peaceful pro-Palestine movement in the US universities. The awakened conscience of the American and European academic community vividly demonstrates the outpouring of distaste that the world feels for the Israel regime and those who support it. We hope that dear Palestine will be free soon!

علیرغم ماهیت به ­غایت صلح ­آمیز جنبش حامی فلسطین، حاکمان ایالات متحده، به شکل غیرمتناسبی به فشار، ضرب و جرح و خشونت، متوسل شده­اند. جای بسی شرمساری است که استادان و دانشجویان، در حال سرکوب­شدن و اخراج هستند؛ نه برای خشونت­ طلبی بلکه برای سردادن ندای صلح. بله! این دقیقاً همان تفسیر حقوق بشر و آزادی بیان، از سوی مقامات آمریکایی و متحدان غربی آن می­باشد. بی­تفاوتی شرم­آور حاکمان ایالات متحده، نسبت به نسل­کشی جاری در نوار غزه، به­ وضوح بیانگر استاندارد دوگانه آنها می­باشد. ما اکنون، شاهد بیداری وجدان آزادی­خواه اساتید و دانشجویان در دانشگاههای آمریکا در برابر رژیم آپارتاید صهیونیستی هستیم.

      همکاران و دانشجویان عزیز، ما اعضای دانشگاه گناباد، قویاً در کنار شما ایستاده­ایم و عمل شنیع مسئولان آمریکایی در سرکوب جنبش صلح­خواه فلسطین در دانشگاه­های آمریکا را محکوم می­نمائیم. وجدان بیدارشده جامعه فرهیخته آمریکایی و اروپایی، به­صورت مبرهن، حکایت از غلیان نفرتی دارد که دنیا نسبت به رژیم اسرائیل و حامیان آن احساس می­کند. امیدواریم که فلسطین عزیز، به­زودی آزاد شود.
